If you've been following MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) in the UK and Wales, then you'll have undoubtedly heard about this rising star, who is currently the only person to hold two Cage Warriors titles in different weight classes at the same time since Conor McGregor. He's set to make his debut with UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) in Abu Dhabi on the 20th of January at the UFC Fight Night against Mike Davis. Statistically, Mason stands a good chance of winning the fight, given his track record of 10 wins and no losses, compared to Davis' 8 wins and two losses. He's also ranked at number 5 in the UK in the Welterweight category. We're eagerly looking forward to seeing the fight, and if you've never watched any MMA fights on the TV you should, they can be very exciting!
Mason will be joining other elite athletes as a part of the UFC, but he has also joined another club, which we feel could be even more elite than the UFC, as he is now an athlete sponsored by Watches of Wales. That means you'll undoubtedly be seeing more of him on the site in the future.
We'd love to wish Mason good luck for his first UFC fight on the 20th of January. The odds look to be in his favour, so we hope he's been limbering up and not getting himself distracted by shiny watches (although we would totally understand if that were to happen). We'll certainly be tuning in!
